Our name (SBS) represents us in the sense that we not only work side by side with each other, but alongside you throughout the planning process. As a mother and daughter team, we have an innate partnership that sets us apart.
We feel the foundation for a successful event is built on communication, trust, and respect. Our purpose, beyond executing seamlessly orchestrated weddings, is to cultivate personalized relationships with our clients, resulting in a level of confidence and comfort, that allows us to craft a uniquely memorable event reflective of our couplesβ personal styles, interests, and values. We are committed to providing the utmost level of service, while creating a one-of-a-kind experience filled with unparalleled attention to detail.
We are your sounding board, your sense of reassurance when you need it, and the face in the crowd that gives you peace of mind knowing you have the best team by your side. MEET JACQUI
Owner, Lead Designer and Planner
Jacqui began her professional career planning corporate events in Major League Baseball after graduating from the University of Florida with a Bachelorβs degree in Sports Management. In 2010, she moved back to her hometown of Naples after having lived on the east coast of Florida for several years. She began working alongside Kathie on several occasions and quickly realized her passion for planning weddings and private events. With a natural eye for tasteful design paired with her innate fashion sense and relentless pursuit of perfection, she finds event planning the perfect intersection to channel what she is passionate about.
Jacqui epitomizes 'detail-oriented'. On wedding days, you can find her steaming linens, perfecting napkin folds, removing the salt and pepper shakers from tables for detail shots, and in general, being the one you can trust during your event to keep all balls in the air. Jacqui is at the helm of every project and prides herself in meticulously handling every last detail, leaving nothing unnoticed. Her creative drive, impeccable taste, and dedication to her clients has solidified her as one of the leading professionals in the area, as recognized by her colleagues and clients alike.
MEET KATHIE
Founder and Planner
Kathie has always had an admiration for planning parties and events, whether corporate, for friends or personal. Her journey into event planning began after her son's wedding. A longtime friend in the wedding industry suggested she channel her creative talents into a full-time career. With that, SBS was born.
Kathie exudes a nurturing demeanor, allowing you to relax throughout the process and take in and enjoy every moment of your special day. She believes that planning a wedding should not be stressful or overwhelming, but fun and inspiring. As a mom, she offers support and guidance; as an event professional, she offers her knowledge, expertise and experience. Kathie realizes how important organization, communication and flexibility are and handles every occasion in a highly professional manner, while maintaining a level of calm in stressful situations. She knows that planning any event can often times be a daunting task, but her ability to handle with patience, kindness and ease is invaluable.
